Misfit is a clothing label inspired by ordinary yet unusual people's love of inclusion and unity. It celebrates people of all shapes, sizes, and colors and goes beyond the bounds of conventional representation of society.
Our client approached us with a simple and direct need: "I want to create something unique, memorable, and impactful”. Most major brands in Pakistan have the same one-size-fits-all approach and only run size-inclusive or body-positive campaigns once a year to jump on the bandwagon. From the brand name to the whole identity, the team at Magnetic saw the true potential behind a gap. This is where we saw a chance to make a statement.
We saw an opportunity to keep diversity at the center of this project and a core to the brand’s mission; using all messages, assets, and illustrations to reflect everything raw, real, and human about us all. Thus, the idea for the brand name, Misfit, was born. So, we began working closely with the client to develop the brand from the ground up. Creating a brand identity.

We wanted to develop a community of people that care about the idea behind the label as much as they care about how they look with Misfit. As a result, we integrated this story into everything we produced for Misfit, from the name to the tone and style guide.

A logo is an essential component of any brand. It is the symbol your audience remembers you by. A logo is a component of the whole brand experience, which comprises every interaction with the user that differentiates one organization from another. We worked with Misfit to identify their three brand attributes as real, reliable, relatable. Misfit's brand story is incorporated throughout their identity — ensuring every brand element relates to their purpose. And this purpose is to inspire and celebrate its target customer through the creative journey the brand elements take them through.
Misfit’s logo features a smart and minimal design concept. The typography infuses the thread to visually symbolize fabric of the jeans.
From the logo design to Misfit's branding elements such as the tagline, tone, personality and packaging, everything embodies important brand traits, and harmonizes it together to present a unique experience for its customers.
Once the branding was set, it was time to bring Misfit’s website come to life. We breathed life into it with the new visuals, tone, and user experience.
Everything, from the main page to the inner pages, is kept consistent with the brand's fundamental identity; to celebrate its core buyer personas. It puts the community first and lets them take center stage.
The goal was to put the branding in action and provide consumers with an immersive experience of what the label represents. On the homepage, we purposefully prioritized the star of the brand, the customers, by celebrating their uniqueness and speaking to their experiences. We set the tone by taking to a journey through the website.
