.NET development and modernization services
We upgrade unsupported .NET applications, move .NET Framework systems to modern .NET and build new ones, without changing what your users rely on.
- .NET 7 to .NET 10 upgrade delivered in phases
- 12-year-old PHP platform rebuilt in .NET
- Same team for 3+ years
Three kinds of .NET work
Whether you're one version behind or still on .NET Framework, the work is planned so users don't feel it.
Upgrades between modern .NET versions
.NET 6, 7, 8 or 9.NET 10We update the framework, packages and deployment, and keep your APIs, database and screens exactly as they are.
.NET Framework to modern .NET
Web Forms and WCFMVC, Razor Pages or Blazor; REST, gRPC or CoreWCFA bigger move. Web Forms has no direct equivalent in modern .NET and must be rebuilt, and WCF services need a new home. We plan it screen by screen so nothing gets lost.
New .NET systems and rebuilds
PHP or legacy systemsASP.NET Core and C#Applications and APIs in C#, often replacing older systems, on SQL Server and AWS or Azure.
How we upgrade without breaking anything
Most upgrade problems hide in dependencies, so that's where we start.
Dependency review
Every package and library checked against the target version, from authentication and cloud SDKs to JSON and PDF libraries.
Code and configuration changes
Hosting, startup, middleware and dependency injection updated; deprecated APIs replaced.
Regression testing
Every business flow, integration, background job and API contract tested, including status codes and error handling.
Phased rollout
Development first, then QA, then production, with a monitoring window after each before moving on.

A claims platform upgraded from .NET 7 to .NET 10
A workers' compensation pharmacy claims administrator was running its platform on .NET 7 after support ended, and aging packages had started breaking builds. We upgraded the web application and API services to .NET 10.
- No database schema changes, no new screens to learn and no changes to external APIs
- Checked in development, QA and production, with a monitoring window after each
- Regression testing covered claims processing, batch jobs, correspondence, reporting and file handling
The same team first rebuilt that platform from a 12-year-old PHP system into .NET and SQL Server. Read the case study

Why teams choose us for .NET work
- .NET is our core stack
- ASP.NET Core, C#, Entity Framework and SQL Server are what our teams build in every day.
- We've done the hard version
- Rebuilding a 12-year-old platform is harder than most upgrades, and we've done both.
- Testing is part of the team
- QA automation engineers test every sprint, not just the end.
- Your hours
- Our engineers work your schedule: North American engineers onsite, hybrid or remote, and a global delivery team working 8 am to 5 pm ET.
- Need people, not a project?
- Hire .NET developers who join your team.
.NET development and modernization FAQ
Straight answers to the questions we hear most.
How long does a .NET upgrade take?
An upgrade between modern versions, such as .NET 7 to .NET 10, often takes weeks rather than months, depending on the number of projects and dependencies. Moving from .NET Framework takes longer because some parts must be rebuilt. We give you a timeline after reviewing your code.
Will our users notice?
Not for a version upgrade: we keep the screens, data and APIs as they are. For a .NET Framework migration, we keep workflows the same and improve screens only where it helps.
Can we skip straight from .NET 6 or 7 to .NET 10?
Yes. You don't need to install each version in between. We review the breaking changes across all of them and fix them in one upgrade.
What about our Web Forms or WCF code?
Web Forms needs rebuilding in a modern UI framework. WCF services are usually moved to REST APIs, gRPC or CoreWCF, depending on who calls them.
Do you also build new .NET applications?
Yes. We build ASP.NET Core applications and APIs, most often with SQL Server and hosting on AWS or Azure.
Can you work with our own .NET developers?
Yes. We can lead the upgrade, work inside your team, or provide .NET developers through staff augmentation.
